Happy Big Friday Moshi Fans the world over,
I know you're all sitting on the edges of your pink furry heart chairs waiting for the Friday Daily Blog comp. It's 10am in my office at Monstro City (though right next door to me it's 3pm - isn't that fascinating?). I've been thinking about this news all week. Wondering how to write a clever blog about such great news - wanting to engage each and every Moshi fan and fill your senses with excitement and anticipation. Crafting every word, every line...(ouch! someone just threw a squishy human at me! Am I talking too much again?).
Ok ok... Moshi Monsters is creating Moshi Dress Up! ::throws clothes and accessories all around the room::: :::hears distant cheering in the Flutterby Field:::
AND we have a competition for our loyal, creative Moshi Monster Fans (that's you, the person reading this, mmm hmmm, yewwww). How would you dress your monster? What kind of items should Monsters have for Dress Up? What do you think would be fun, cool, different, creative. You design it! And...we need something other than "Moshi Dress Up" as a name for this new feature. If you were KING or QUEEN of Monstro City, how would you tell the roarkers to create Moshi Dress Up?

Here's the BEST part. Send us a picture or description of a special dress up item. You can draw it and scan it and send it or if you know how to use a graphics program, send us a graphic design. Or just send us a text description - we love text too. And since I have so many eyes, I can read hundreds of emails at once. We'll go through the ideas and the Monstro City team will choose a grand prize winner who will help our talented illustrator design the item. We'll make sure your Monster or Monster owner name is included in the item name as well. How cool is that?
All entries must be received by May 31st. That gives everyone a week

i think every poppet should wear a pink top, a blue skirt, yellow shoes and a pink feather boa!!! i think every zommer should wear bright red skinny jeans, a black ripped top, some cool converse and a big belt!!! i think every furi should wear big monster boots, denim skinny jeans and a big wolly jumper (colour your choice)!!! i think every diavlo should wear small red converse, green skinny jeans and a top with a BIG print on it!!! i think every luvli should wear green skinny jeans, a red vest top and silver stilletos (for baby luvlis flat silver shoes)!!! i think every katsuma should wear bright blue skinny jeans, orange vest tops and red shoes!!!
and i will be making sure everyone keeps to my fashion rules or else they will have a visit from the fashion police!!! lol =]

My luvli - Pomme, is always so proud when she wins a new trophy she says she wants everyone to see it && should she wear it as a hat???
I think you should make trophy hats unlocked by whatever level you're on, maybe level t-shirts and so on too!!!
They could be plainish t-shirts with a big level logo in the middle and maybe a slogan?

I would love to have a trunk full of disguises. You know, cheesy mustaches, glasses, trench coats, the whole bit. And I think Dante would appreciate some awesome punk rock items. I would love to be able to give him a new hairstyle and maybe a few piercings!

Here's my idea for a dress up item:
i'd like a big peace symbol on a chain to go around my monster's neck. maybe it could be in different colours with gold and platinum being rare.

k, sunshine, ya. my poppets a blue BOY. I don't want to dress him in a pink top, blue skirt and and pink feather boa. how abot 4 MINE, cause hes a boy, any 1 can take this idea i all ready sent in mine, not this 1, a black rock on shirt, faded jeans, a skate bord, a back wards hat, a pair of Rebocks and last but not least, a golden chain w/ a ring on it 2 go around his neck. The items can be clothes, shoes, hats, necklaces, a skateboard, a boat, a car, glasses, a wig, a tree that fits over your monster's head, an upside down vase for a glove, or anything you can think of. It does not have to fit any specific monster. It doesn't have to fit anything in fact. Just send it on in!
We're getting some great ideas. Hand draw them, describe them, use a program, send a pic, post a reply here, whatever you'd like.

I think we need a bucket of water as a dress up item to put squishy's fire out when he gets steaming mad.
a bucket with a handle and water that looks like it's spilling out. it should be animated and empty when you click on it.

I think that you should create a mall in monstro city with different shopes, for example your monster could shop a monster couture, fuzlie, trash, or even roray and scrawl where you can by name brand purses for your monster. Also you can include accessories :)

my little fluffles would look good in something to party the night away with a touch of pirate. it would be purple
partying shoes with blue sparkles and then he would have a parrot on his shoulder. then, the final touch, a blue eye patch with a skull on it..

i think a perfect outfit for any monster in the winter is a tuke with a huge pompom on top and a scarf with more pompoms at the end.a perfect outfit for a girl monster in the spring and the summer(and a little bit of the fall)is a I heart moshi monsters t-shirt with a ruffle skirt,and for a boy monster,cargo pants,a white t-shirt with a a button on plaid t-shirt on the outside undon(optional).on rainy days ,for poppets,(there bibiting bobiting boots,)an umbrella with polkadots
and a raincoat that matches the color of the polkadots,and the some things for other girl monsters.for boy a simple umbrella with a raincoatthat is the same co,or as there fur(but darker or lighter).

Can we make non-existing items? Not just like sunglasses and shirts because I was thinking of making like a Snow Necklace and when you put it on your monster theres going to be like snow falling from the roof of your room... can we make stuff like that?

hey i think that there should be a permanent door coming from the house and make that as like a bedroom, where you can access the wardrobe. i think there should also be a bed in the room were you have to put your monster to sleep. everyone has to sleep sometime. = ] i think the type and amount of clothes in the wardrobe should depend on the level you are on. i also think that there should be a clothes designer in the wardrobe. when is this feature becoming available? im so excited. = ] ive only had this a couple of days and already im addicted. adding clothes to my monster will make the game even better. i cant wait and niether can my monster. = ]

i think the idea of a disguise trunk is brilliant!
i can just imagine pomme in a long brown coat with thoes glasses with a fake nose and moustache on!!!!!
and you could release new clothes on different theme days!!!
like - Pirate day, ninja day, candy day, supermonster day etc. That would be so much fun! :D

i would lov piercings and pirate costumes aswell as a full on skeleton costume, bare bones to show off what my zommer's got so he can flaunt it :] .
a lamp shade hat would be preetttyy awesome in my opinion.
or leopard print tights SOOO cute.
I also think a jacket with gum drop buttons and icing instead of fur on the hood and sleeves would be fabulous.
shrek like ears on a headband would be cute.
And for my final thought i think tattoo bandaids that would transfer temporarily onto your monster or stick on your walls would be the ish :]. or maybe nailpolish.

Wheez suggests that Furis could wear a kilt and sporran and he would also like a nit comb! He also thinks it unfair that other monsters came with shoes, but he hasn't got any.

How about a country theme to go with the grassy floor, butterfly nets, rainbow hats and T-shirt with rainbow or bug emblems, mackintosh and boots and a fishing rod? You could also have hair slides shaped as flutterbys and bugs

I would like dangly necklaces and ear rings (for those that have ears). My ideas on these would be eyes, for zommers, ears for diavlos, furis and luvlis, and hearts for luvlis and poppets. Come to think of it, some of them could do with more legs and arms as well.
I would also like brooches which show the current level award, which change automatically as they go up the levels.

People could pay to design their own clothes for their monster and pay extra for cute little accessories like piercings, necklaces, belts, sunglasses.. ect.
It would be really great as Sweetpotatoe is getting tired of her look.

If i got the chance to name the day it would be "Colour craze day" because the clothes would be all diffrent colours and it would be the latest craze! So put them together and you have "Colour craze day"!

i think they should make differnt cloths for diffrent time of year and they should folow fashion i have said what i liked before i alsow would like pullalong monster duckies for my monster to pull along the room you know like babys have and a babys dummy and a baby bonet to (so cute) my be our monsters can have pets or parents or a family that would be good

i have seven monsters (all under differenet usernames) i just just thing my seven monsters (1 off each bread but x2 of those bunny looking things)
are just going to love theese new clothes. you should make a clothes shop. and every month you have a differnet. clothe theme!how cool?

LOVE the idea!! EXCELLENT, can't wait to see what there is available! I would love to see all different types, glamour clothes for the sophisticated monster :p with sunglasses, high heels, purse and skirt. The surfer monster like mine would love just a pair of flip flops and surfer shorts :) The hippie chick, a flowey somewhat flowery but not over the top.. earth toned dress with a peace sign hair pin. Lots of ideas!

Omg! This is amazing! I don't think everyone should have to wear the exact same thing because everyone is different and unique in their own way! so we should all be able to express ourselves uniquely. Like have Bling for the G's, Studs for the Punks, glasses for those cute Bookworms, and so on! My Monsters name is Moshihiro, and I would deck him out as a Punk! That's my style and he's my babii...Mother's dress their kids to their liking! hahaha. He would wear some studded bracelets and some patched clothes and some doc boots! That' would be sooooo cool!(:

though in addition to the general trendy things I think it would be good if there were some stereotypical monster things, like Frankenstein Neck Bolts, Mummy Gauze, Detachable Dracula Teeth, Knight Armor, the Phantom of the Opera Mask, Devil Horns Headband, Vampire Capes, etc.

for the dress up i think there should be costumes or masks and glitter and eye shadows and some sweet kicks for there feets and glow stick necklaces raver bright clothes. they should also have like animal parts you can add to them like fins or tails or elf ears (that would be SWEET!) for the name i think it should be called Moshi Monster Boutique or Moshi Monster Attire

here is my idea in summer my monster wears splodge shaped sunglases and a sock on his ear (if the monster has small ears/horns the sock would be small)
in winter he would wear a wooly hat and scarf
in atumum he would have a pupkin head (for halloween)
and in spring he would have a hat with flowers on it ( they may be dead flowers because monsters like ickie things and every thing would come in differnt colours)
i think monster pefer monster themed items
my monster will always have a pullalong monster duckie toy (like babys have but they would monster themed)

I think it should be called the 'Fancy Dress Ball' and the shop could have lots of monster-quins modelling the outfits. And then you could have an actual Ballroom where monsters can dance in their new fancy dress. And this could be themed with punk rock nights, come dancing nights, pop nights etc. !

ok,heres an idea how about: pearl necklaces,skirts and leggings,rollerblades,glasses preferably heart shaped,star shaped ect,for dresses with patterns preferably flowers,stripes ect ect, hats preferably top hats,wizard hats,witch hats ect,as i said earlier about roller blades,different types of shoes preferably shell toes,boots,pumps,high heels,ballet shoes ect ect......... now i think it should be called "moshi makeover" also i think that there should be make-up items which can be rare.

this is random but i have some flutterby field tips
the least expensive one is red don't go out of you way for one (10 points)
yellow don't go out of your way for it (15 points)
green and blue not great but if there is not many other ones try and get it (20 and 25 points)
purple is good not as good as white or rain bow if you are going for yellow/red/green/blue forget about it go for puple(40 points)
white don't forget it rain bow is more expensive but you find more white and if you get two its over 100 any way(80 points)
rainbow are really rare but they are super fast and shy if it is too close too the edge it would just fly away but go after it any othere time (200 points)
