HEYOOOO! It's Little Friday! Woo hooo! Yeehaw! Shazam! Starting today, on this Little Friday, we're going to have "Roary's Hot or Not Forum Topics." This means that I'll pick out my favorite Forum topics so you can all check 'em out for yourselves!

A popularity contest... I don't know it's kinda annoying to know that people's opinions/thoughts are going to be 'rated' by other people. So what does it mean that 100 people said they liked your post, and 500 (ex.) said that they thought it was bad. Does it mean it's bad? No. I've seen awesome writers get turned down, when their work was... 'awesome'.
I think society puts too much stock on other people "Are you cool, or not cool." And the fact that Moshi Monsters is doing something similar to that, is kind of 'degrading', just that they're promoting it. I'd rather hear someone say "This has earned the eye of approval." But to tell someone 'You're just not cool" (or in this case 'Hot') what are you trying to teach people/the younger people? You have MonStar of the Week and all of that stuff, but you don't have MonLoser of the week, why do that with Forums? Perhaps... MonTopic of the week, not...MonHorribleTopic of the week, you could really hurt/crush people that way.
