The Moshi Forum - A Newbie's Guide To Posting Posted by Roary Scrawl on November 05, 2009
The Moshi Forum has recently gotten a makeover. It's so streamlined now! I figured since some of you might not know the ropes yet, I'd post a little guide for ya. I was a n00b once too ya know!
The first thing you gotta do is get to the Forum. You can get there by either clicking the Furi (above) or by clicking "Forum" at the top of your screen. Next, you gotta figure out what you wanna talk about.
Let's say you're new and you want to expand your Friends Tree. Do you see the category "Monstro City Welcoming Committee"? That's a GREAT place to find friends.
If you want to start your own discussion, click on "New Discussion" on the left. Enter your discussion topic, add a comment to kick off your topic and click "Start Discussion." It might take a while for your discussion to appear (that's because the Moshi staff has to make sure it's ok first) and then you'll have new friends commenting before you know it!
If you want to post a comment on someone else's Discussion (I recommend Bootsy's Introduce Yourself Here Quiz) just click on it, scroll to the bottom, and write your comment. Click "Add Your Comment" and you'll see it appear in no time.
Make your comments stand out by using COLOR! Bold, italics, and underline are also fun. Not to mention EMOTICONS!!!
Some folks have figured out ways to make their text even MORE unique, or even invisible. You'll have to ask around at the Forum to figure that out!
Comment on THIS blog and let us know what you think of the new Forum categories and a few of you will win a Random Rox prize!

Hi. I think that the new style is a lot better because it is easier to find the catagory that you want to talk about. Also, MOSHI IS GREAT !!!

I love the new forum.. On the old one i couldnt start any discussions because I couldnt find any buttons... I sent an email asking how to start a discussion and i got the reply that i had to just reply to lots of other discussions. I didnt really like this and so I love the new forum alot more :) Im a big fan of the forum but even more the Daily Growl! Its the first thing i do EVERY day. :)

I really like the way MM is set up. I go to the Forum and read as much as I can. I do comment occasionally. MM is Great fun and I can't wait until the Super Moshi's are announced.

I think the new Moshi Categories have even more awesome names then before!
I've always liked Roary's Eye-magination, It's the category I go on the most!
I'm sad that * LOL* ROFL* went away though, there was really cool discussions on it like the 'Big Smileey Club' and also there ws really funny jokes were on that category.
I think the other categories were a good idea... at least Roary's Eye-Magination Station is still there!

To be honest, I prefer the old ones, but it is mainly because some of my favorite discussions (like The Children of the Phoenix, write write write and writing Olympics) and some of mine (Make a mythical child) were deleted.

I love forums but i miss chatter box! I really wanna write in rainbow i dont mean one letter red then the next orange but like a real rainbow i have seen but i dont know how! yes. congrats moshi. it was getting a bit confusing with so many areas that exploded like my friends tree.
Seems like it will be a lot easier now.
Lots of areas to delve into and explore or add comment or discussion of my own

I think moshi monsters has done such a good job at mantaning people to stay on moshi monsters because of their new ideas, streets, ***ISLANDS!!!**** forums, and comps. The new categories were good because the old ones had like millions of comments and it was really hectic. Now its a start a fresh thing so it will be more organised-for now!

i was off moshi monsters for a while, so when i got back on it was i big suprise the forums changed! i was upset my old discussions went but a fresh start is good for you and your monster! it is very well organised and i am pleased it has changed.

This is my story......
Well one night Perfy thought about how good it would be to travel into the past. Then he went into Albert Einstein's life he knocked on his door and said,"Um um um hey Albert",he was so shy that he ran away but stole the glass that was in his hand Albert said," I'll get you one day", then Perfy ran on top of his machine and travelled back home. He said," What an adventure".
